Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors

Westhead Associates' vertical reciprocating conveyors are a critical component to keeping manufacturing operations running smoothly. As an experienced provider of custom steel fabrications in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and New York, Westhead Associates makes full use of the extensive range of pre-engineered industrial building systems and their accessories for all types of manufacturing operations. Our strategy of employing existing systems for custom design gives us a familiarity and experience with many types of industrial processes and their associated equipment. In addition to our work with custom mezzanines, equipment platforms, modular in-plant office buildings, cleanroom design, and more, Westhead associates can also integrate vertical conveyor systems into your existing operations, or develop a new system from scratch, at a fraction of the time and cost of typical architectural and engineering services.

Vertical reciprocating conveyors (VRCs) are powerful systems for transporting materials between two or more levels. Different models can be selected for unit weight and speed (measured in feet per second). Either ‘S' or ‘C' types can be selected to efficiently integrate into existing material handling processes. Multiple axes allow units to be lifted vertically and sent in the x or y axis. Modern vertical lifts can also be programmed to run continuously with minimal personnel interaction. Links between horizontal conveyors are smooth and efficient.

Conveyor lifts are indispensable components for many of today's manufacturing processes, and Westhead Associates will ensure that the new system complies with the current OSHA standards for safe operation. Our selection of accessories for material handling range from vertical conveyor systems, platform lifts, work platforms, vacuum lifts, gantries, and more. Whether you need an upgrade to a new system, or you are setting up a new manufacturing operation, Westhead provides the expert design services as well as the most advanced equipment.
